What is Project:Hack 4?
Project:Hack 4 is the Project Data Analytics Community’s fourth Hackathon. It takes place at the Microsoft Reactor, London over the weekend of 12th & 13th October 2019.
Diverse teams of professionals will join together to take a fresh approach to industry challenges using real project delivery data, take part in hands on masterclasses with industry experts and ultimately come up with innovative solutions to change the face of project delivery.
To help stimulate transformational change, please help us spread the word across social media and you will be entered into a prize draw to win a GOOGLE Home Mini.
What do I need to do?
The rules are simple, follow us on Twitter like and retweet any Project:Hack 4 posts with the hashtag #ProjectHack4.
On LinkedIn, like and share posts again using the hashtag #ProjectHack4.
The winner will be selected after the closing date of Friday 11th October 2019 and announced on social media. They will then be contacted via social media to arrange delivery.
For our existing followers you’ve already done 50% of the work already. It’s that simple! Remember, the more posts you share the more entries you will get into the prize draw and the more chance you have of winning!

COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS
- How to Enter
1.1. To enter on Twitter, entrants must follow the Project Data Analytics Community (@PDACommunity), like community posts using #ProjectHack4 and retweet the post along with the hashtag #ProjectHack4.
1.2. To enter on LinkedIn, entrants must like and share the community post using #ProjectHack4 post along with the hashtag #ProjectHack4.
1.3. A winner will be selected at random, using software, from the entries across both Twitter and LinkedIn.
- When to Enter and Who can Enter
2.1. The competition opens on Thursday 26th September at 07:00 and closes on Friday 11th October at 23:59.
2.2. Entrants can enter at any point between these dates and times.
2.3. Entrants can enter the competition as many times as they like, and can like, share, comment, tweet and RT as many times as they choose.
2.4. The competition is only open to professionals who follow the progress of the Project Data Analytics Community on Twitter and/or LinkedIn. It excludes employees and anyone professionally connected with the administration of the competition.
3.1. The prize for winning the competition will be a GOOGLE Home Mini.
3.2. The prize is as stated and cannot be sold or exchanged for cash, goods or services. Unless specifically agreed in writing by the Project Data Analytics Community, the prize is not transferable and must be taken by the winner in person or delivered by post as agreed.
- Data Protection and Publicity
4.1. You consent to your name being disclosed on the Project Data Analytics Community social channels and other media if you win.
4.2. Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation. By entering the Competition, you agree that the Project Data Analytics Community may contact you in relation to the Competition.
4.3. The competition winner will be contacted by the Project Data Analytics Community. You must provide accurate contact details on notification.
4.4. The Project Data Analytics Community reserves the right to use the name of the winner for publicity and in advertising, marketing or promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice to the winner. In entering the Competition, all participants consent to their name being publicised if selected as the winner.
- Competition Rules
5.1. The Competition will be run and the Prize awarded at the Project Data Analytics Community’s sole discretion.
5.2. We reserve the right to refuse entry into the Competition.
5.3. We reserve the right to change the Competition rules and these Terms and Conditions from time to time. If we do so, we will always have the most up to date terms and conditions on the Website and in the case of a discrepancy between these terms and conditions and those on the Website, the Website terms and conditions will apply. Your continued use of the website will constitute your acceptance of the new rules and/or Terms and Conditions.
5.4. All intellectual property rights in the images and materials on the Website, and used in the services provided by the Project Data Analytics Community are owned by the Project Data Analytics Community and no person may make any use of them without express permission.
- Liability and Indemnities
6.1. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence, or in respect of fraud, and so far as is permitted by law, the Project Data Analytics Community and its associated companies and agents and distributors exclude responsibility and all liabilities, whether direct or indirect, arising from:
6.1.1. any postponement or cancellation of the Competition;
6.1.2. any changes to, supply of or use of the Prize;
6.1.3. any act or default of any supplier, which are beyond the Project Data Analytics Community’s reasonable control.
6.2. The Project Data Analytics Community does not accept responsibility for any liability arising from technical incompatibility, problems relating to the internet or technical difficulties of any kind.
6.3. The Project Data Analytics Community shall not be liable, whether in tort, contract, misrepresentation or otherwise for loss of profits, loss of anticipated savings, loss of goods, loss of use, loss or corruption of data or information, or any special, indirect, consequential or pure economic loss, costs, damages, charges or expenses.
6.4. You agree to indemnify the Project Data Analytics Community against all liabilities, claims and expenses that may arise from any breach of your agreement with the Project Data Analytics Community.
6.5. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Twitter, LinkedIn or any other social network.
7.1. The Competition and these Terms and Conditions are governed by English Law. England & Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions.
